This is the ninth, and final installment (obvi) in a series of guest blog-posts from the folks who attended our New Years Eve Iron Chef-style cookoff at Hickory House. There was one rule: you had to use exactly 9 (as in, 2009) ingredients. The results were so delicious that no winner was determined, and I felt compelled to post the recipes on here. Today's guest blogger-chef is Jake, who is famous for aboriginal folk, intense energy, coyote calls, vivid dreams, and general good vibrations.
NEW YEARS BROWNIE PIE, Or, Smarter Than Your Average Brownie Pie
1) Pie Crust
2) Brownie Mix
3) Eggs (one more than the recipe calls for for a more cake-like consistency)
4) Oil
5) Raspberries
6) Blueberries
7) Chocolate Chips
8) Ice Cream
9) Chocolate Sauce
Cook the brownie pie with #1-7. Serve it with #8-9. See diagram for additional info.
